iP - Impressie Publisher

iP - Impressie Publisher is an advanced and easy-to-use publication tool for web based publications for internet, intranet and cd-rom which range from basic - iP-Basic - to sophisticated - iP-Advanced - publications and web sites. For pdf iP-Basic publications Impressie developed the iP Application Service.

Navigation

iP offers full-text searches but there is the additional option to use meta data - key words - to find specific subjects or chapters within the publication. The hits will be "highlighted" in the presented documents.
In addition to these search options we offer a table of contents (in a tree-structure) to allow easy and rapid navigation through the application.
Advanced searching - searching on meta-information such as key words, names of authors, dates (from/until) or places - can be included as well.

The Indexing and Searching of Documents

With iP all kinds of electronic documents such as pdf, html, xml, (encoded) text can be indexed which makes it possible to include documents of different formats within one publication.

Federated Search

It is possible to perform a simultaneous search on multiple online iP publications (federated search using Open Search). If however you prefer to add an iP-publication to your own web site this can easily be integrated.

Authorised Users

iP publications can be made accessible for authorized users only which enables you to work with a subscription system.
